Help Needed

Hi,

I have recently gotten a new MPX200. I have had one before, but unfortunately it took an untimely swim!!!

My new MPX200 came with the spanish language installed. When I tried to upgrade it to WM 2003, the install worked fine and it said that the phone had been updated successfully, but when I looked at it it is still running WM2002. Does this mean that this phone is application locked? I have used the same upgrade program before on another phone and it worked fine.

The screen that appears after the Hellomoto screen is an "Optimus" screen. I am not familiar with this company. If I do need to unlock this phone, can I use the unlock program for the Orange UK phones?

You do not need to application unlock a phone before being able to upgrde it.

Without knowing which ileagal rom you used I would say that the phone

did not go through the upgrade process and would suggest that you try again.

Do you really need to upgrade? most people who upgrade to 2003 want to move back to 2002 shortly after.
