SDA Music - problem selecting of MP3 Ringtones

The SDA Music supports selection of a different MP3 ringtone per contact.

This has been working fine until this morning when, for some reason, I can no longer select MP3 files either as the master ringtone in the Sounds menu, or as a contact ringtone.

The filenames come up in the list of available sounds, so they're definitely being detected. In fact, it even lets me choose the MP3, but then neither previews the sound or lets me exit the relevant screen until I select a non-MP3 file for the ringtone.

I should add that WMP10 is no longer playing MP3s either, saying it doesnt recognise them...

Anybody know what's going on? Has some registry setting for .mp3 files been changed?
