Ordered a 1gb mini sd card from this company on monday afternoon,

Moby Memory, and it came today! £121.49 which included delivery. NICE :(

Now just have to wait 3 days until i can put tom tom mobile on it :)

Does it work good? Whats the actualy memory size on it? Around 800mb i'm guessing?

Yea it works very very well, the actual memory size is 973.96mb, which i was more than impressed with!

Woah! My 256mb had an actualy size of 170mb :x :evil:. Maybe it was because I never formatted it.

Pah, works just bought me a 512Mb, might have to pass that on to somebody else and get the 1Gb ... oh, luverly Mb, the more the better

Well I have to big up MOBY MEMORY!!!!! Got my 1gig Mini SD this morning after ordering yesterday morning, u cant complain about the service :)

Hard reset my C500 and reinstalled all my apps to the memory card so the phones memory is completely untouched now, woo hoo :(

anyone know when 2gig cards are coming out.. pmsl :twisted:

any thoughts why this is significantly cheaper than the TeraVit model Modaco shop can supply?

if not then i am ordering one sharpish with my new-found christmas wealth (!)

i also ordered a few cards from these guys this week - excellent price on the 1Gb card in comparison with the few other places you can get them from at the moment and very good service

Please don't SHOUT. I have no doubt that others are working on 2Gb cards too but who wants to wait a year?

If you want someone to test a 2Gb card now tho'.....

how do you format mini-sd?

You could get Binarys' Smart Explorer. That has Format Card in the File menu.

Alternatively if you have a card reader (essential for large file transfers) you could use that. It shows up in My Computer as E: drive. Right-click the icon.

I see format on resco explorer but not binarys, does it need registration for that?

@hb88xx Its Binarys SP Task Manager you want to format SD Cards

@Pondrew Yes all the mini SD Cards from them come with an adapter Ive had a 256 & 512 from them. And when my mate decides he wants a bigger card I'll be ordering the 1GB :D

It's a better version of what the phone has pre-loaded.

You might be right about it needing registering. That rings a bell...
