Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 More likely what the seller has done is sold you his card and kept a copy for himself :? Unfortunately TomTom's End User Licence Agreement states, 1) GRANT OF LICENSE: This TomTom License Agreement ("License") permits you to use the TomTom computer program and the digital (map) data included in the accompanying package acquired with this License on any single computer, provided the Software is installed on only one computer at any time and provided the Software is combined only with one (1) navigation system. This License is non-exclusive and non-transferable. 5) You cannot transfer this Limited Warranty to another person. This means that he has given you the software but you are not the legal owner so you should ask for your money back as you have been conned into thinking you are buying yourself a legal copy of the software which unfortunately you have not. Have a read of the TomTom review in the news section, but as said previously this site will not help to promote the growth of warez. Topic locked and further posts will be removed.
