Problems with reading orange email via orange world

For the past 2 weeks I have not been able to view/read my"orange.net" emails via Orange World on my C500. Its taken over 2 weeks for orange to admit a problem! Using orange world you, from tools you choose "Read your emails", selecting this takes you through to a list of supported email providers. Orange.net is at the top of this list. Selecting this takes you to Email Set where you can chose to access email via "Your Phones Inbox" or "Orange World". Selecting Orange World worked in the past but for the past 2 weeks its just not responded and returned with a proxy server error. Today I've tired to do the same thing again and it now reads "Sorry, we have detected that the email provider may not display correctly on your handset" I just think this is absolutely ridiculous considering these are both orange products, I paying for a service I can not use!!

Just wondering if anybody else was experiencing the same problem and your thoughts

I'm sending this email onto orange to see what sort of response i get.

Is there a problem with O's emails via phone at the moment? I have just received a new phone and cannot seem to connect to Orange at all. My phone downloads my oneandone email ok so it is not a GPRS issue. I am positive the details I have entered are correct on my o acct it just says connecting.... then nought? Anyone??

I generally don't use Orange.net I did notice that when the above message appears, I can still click "Continue to Orange.net" to get into the email.

BTW I used the APN orangewap + proxy if that helps.
