How do you get windows media player on the mpx220 to play a freakin .wav file...It will only play mp3s...Anyway to do this or is there another media player that will do it?

media player will also play .wma files. I tend to use that format over mp3.

The sound recoder allows you to play .wav files. It can search the local directories and produce a list of all .wav files

Betaplayer can play .wav and set playlist. But i think u should convert them to other format like .mp3 or .wma or .ogg to save space. If you just wanna play a windows sound then, install an explorer like "SmartExplorer" or "Resco Explorer 2003" and view the file, Windows (not media player) will play it for you.

BetaPlayer:

betaplayer.corecodec.org/

Smart Explorer:

RESCO Explorer 2003:

www.resco-net.com/explorer.asp

Hope this helps! ;-)
