Ok My mate has a nokia 6600 and I tried my bluetooth out with him, his definetly works as he uses it often, I switched my bluetooth to discoverable but he couldnt find mine then I just set it to on and he still couldnt find me so I searched for him and found him but require a passkey for secure connection which he says he doesnt know and has never had to use a code before, What do I need to do I imagine I havent set up bluetooth correctly. He sent me a picture via infrared which I couldnt find on my phone untill I used search for the file name and it apeared in my pictures folder beside my other pics. It wasnt there before why would this be? The other thing I got my c500 on orange pay monthly and it has alot of trials for programs clearvue office etc I want to free up space do I just delete the trial folder on my storage cab or do I need to use an uninstaller, Thanks for any help
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Go to Settings, Bluetooth, BT Setting and uncheck the 'Beam Authentication' box. If you installed the trial sotware then you will need to uninstall it with Add/Remove Programs. If you have, there will be shortcuts in the Programs menu. Otherwise just delete the folder on the storage card.
