Mass number of photos on C500

Just got a C500 for christmas. Finally changed from Original SPV.

Anyway, I had over 400 photos on my SD card on my SPV, admitidly it didn't seem to handle them too well but the C500 is even worse.

Does anyone know any reason for this?

Would installing IA Album makes things better?

when you say worse what do you mean?

I find the album built in with the camera app allows me to view files on the storage card fine

The egg timer thing is on for a long time when loading and often things will freeze until it has finished loading, which is a long time in respect to over 400 photos.

Nope as it's the same application, IA album was bought out by HTC so the

application is one and the same.

As for taking time what the application is doing is looking through the entire phone directory looking for pictures so this will take time to do.

Then I imagine it will crash when the combined file sizes of the photos overwhelms the phone's memory.

Why do you need to carry around 400 pics ? :?

You could sort the pictures into multiple directories. 4 folders of 100 pics would help to organise your images and be much gentler to the C500 when browsing a dir with album :)

I'd be more inclined to split them up into 10 folders. Browsing them on that size screen would be a nightmare anyway. :roll:

They were photos I'd taken with my Original SPV and always had them on my phone, that's all.

I'm going to take them off and now periodically take off the photos I take and put them on my computer every week or so.
