MMS - Still getting grief

Ello All - Hope the Xmas food hasnt fattened you up to much! :)

Im still getting probs with my c500 using mms, ive added all the settings for Voda UK but when i receive a mms it says the msg couldn't be downloaded please try "send n receive" which it trys - Phone shows - Connecting - Sending - Receiving but still nothing happens..

Can anybody help at all!?

Could be a problem with the incoming MMS - picture size etc.

Try taking a picture with the phone then sending it as an MMS to yourself. This will isolate the problem to your phone rather than the message you're trying to receive.

OK sent one to myself, same thing happens with the other msg's ive tried to send - They go into the outbox and the "G" icon is displayed asif its trying to send (do something) I think it could be something to do with msg size as the only mms msg ive recieved since fiddling was a 6k pic..

but thats been it, regards sending and receiving.

I'm sending 56k pictures, but have no idea what the limit is.

Are you sure your settings are correct ? I was going to ask if you'd had data enabled with Vodafone but you say you've had it working previously

OK - right for ages the phone was on GPRS trying to send the msg i assume, then another strange thing happens - I get a Cant be delivered msg - when i try n view that - it just instantly returns me the the start menu (very strange)

Any ways - I havent got a clue why it isnt working - Might ring voda tomoz and get them to run thru it with me..

Very annoying as I want to use mms a fair bit..

That's what I would do.
