Thanks Alas not possible. The Smartphone allows you to set individual ringtones for each contact, but NOT a 'groups' style option such as nokia mobile phones. You can use 'categories' to put the contacts you want into the relevant categories, then in the Contacts program, filter the list to show each category, then manually set a ringtone for each contact before moving on to the next category type, but this will still be long-winded... Contrast to the Pocket PC Phone Edition platform, where individual ringtones are not possible at all, without chargeable third party software such as RingtoneX Poor all round..?

I said: Contrast to the Pocket PC Phone Edition platform, where individual ringtones are not possible at all, without chargeable third party software such as RingtoneX That was Pocket PC mate - NOT Smartphone - I was simply pointing out how another Microsoft platform is worse again. RingtoneX is for Pocket PC - NOT Smartphone. Thanks for the heads up as to the Caller ID software you mention though...
