WMP10 after sim unlock.... ?!?

Hi all,

First off... thanks Florin for developing the unlocker. I followed the directions and got my 5600 working.

I do have a question after unlocking (as of Dec 27), the About on the WMP is version 10.0. I thought that after upgrading, my phone would be reflashed to the Orange ROM (900/1800/1900) and WMP9. That doesn't seem to be the case. Did Florin update the unlocker in v3 to reflect this?

The unlock doesn't require you to flash your phone with the orange rom. At first the 5600 couldn't be unlocked so they were putting the orange rom on and unlocking it that way. Now Florin has everything working so no need to flash with the orange rom.

That's what I thought. Is there anyway to go to the orange ROM and get the 900 band? Do I have to re-purchase the unlock or ? Thanks.

The band is in the HARDWARE. Flashing a 5600 (which has 850) with the orrange ROM just means you lose 850 - you do not gain 900. You can NOT get 900 on a 5600 or 850 on a C500.
