Guys/girlz,

please could someone on o2 pay as you go please tell me their exact settings for their internet, i have a strange problem:

my internet works, but things like MSN Messenger and windows media player (streaming music) do not. please help me!!

what settins u using 4 internet, cantget it to work on sp3i

msn and full internet access wiont work via gprs if you are on o2 prepay as this is disabled if using the payandgo APN. I think it would work using wap dialup settings though.

i have tryed the csd wap, it connecting, then says signing in please sign out when done. idles for a min, then says sign-in to msn messenger service failed because the service is not responding. try again later

Description: O2 MMS  

Connects to: MMS Network (or Work)

Start>Messaging>Media Messages>Menu>Options>Account Setup>Media Messages  

Menu- Edit connections - Menu- Add

Server: O2 MMS  

Download Messsages: automatically  

Outgoing message size: less than 100kb  

Allowed message types: personal  

Menu>Edit connections  

Description: O2 MMS

MMSC Address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002  

Data Connection: MMS connection  

Gateway: WAP 1.0 Gateway  

I.P Address: 193.113.200.195  

Port: 9201  

In Internet explorer, Menu-Options-Connections  

Untick 'automatically detect settings'  

Make 'Select network: Wap network' (for WAP over GPRS) or 'Select Network: The internet' (for WAP over CSD).
