Guest SFMH3 Posted December 23, 2002 Report Posted December 23, 2002 Had a problem with my SPV on Friday that I wasn't able to make a call: just silence after 'dialing' and unable to receive either. Rang the help desk (after resetting the phone twice), one SIM card later seemed OK. Except it wasn't. Saturday morning same thing. So I went into a Orange shop, complained, and received a replacement yesterday at 1pm (yes, a Sunday: they will even replace on Christmas Day apparently). First off, the replacement phone seems significantly faster than my first, especially in composing text and email. I'm also connecting to websites and picking up email 90% of the time, the first consistantly sat there with the Dialing... showing on the status line. Full credit to Orange for customer care, but I'm wondering if my first phone (about 3/4 weeks old) was as duff as I thought (oh, and the camera with the new one works rather than the sepia crap I had to put up with on the previous...)
