Guest cizake Posted December 24, 2002 Report Posted December 24, 2002 Hi there, Can we put up a full screen option for SPV WMP ?? That will increase image size and therefor be more pleasant for viewing movies... Cizake
Guest animasz2004 Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 yeah that would be a good idea. apparently, i dont this is possible. but i do hope im wrong.
Guest mon_nom_est_arnaud Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 You have to modify the .skn skin file
Guest BrAGoL Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 and how can we do that? is there any tutorial or link that you can give us?
Guest Brody Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 Its not possible guys! The only way to get fullscreen video is to use the brilliant Pocket MVP for DivX or Pocket TV for MPEG playback (i prefer Pocket MVP personally). Check out www.monolithix.org and search for Pocket MVP, its free!
Guest scott2eyes Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 If you edit the Windows Media Player SKN file, you can alter where the video playback appears on the window. The way this works is by setting the co-ordinates of the top left hand corner, and the size of the media window. So I don't see any reason why you couldn't make this fullscreen. Although, personally, I wouldn't bother- the Smartphone's screen is taller than pretty much any WMV you're likely to download, while alternative video players like PocketTV have an option to rotate the image by 90 degrees, making hte most of the screen surface.

Guest Brody Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 scott2eyes: it wont go fullscreen, trust me  To get over the aspect ration just encode your videos with a filter to rotate them by 90 degrees!
