how can u send but not receive mail?

I have a yahoo pop3 email account. I basically want to be able to send mail from my SPV, but not receive as I have about 700 email messages that would clog up my phone's inbox. Any ideas as to how I can do this?

If using GPRS, use orange SMTP server, and set your pop3 server to something other than the yahoo account (if its a valid pop3 server it prevents you getting aneroor message on timeout...)

Alternatively (if you can), create a subfolder in Yahoo (Read), move all your read emails in there then you will only download any unread new emails.
