When the keypad is locked the earpiece volume can still be changed - fairly irritating for the volume to be changed while it's in your pocket.

Why can't I change the phone lock timeout without turning it off and back on again?

Sometimes I put the phone down, then a moment or two later pick it up and it takes me a moment of key-pressing to realise it has locked itself and hasn't crashed. I'd like the phone to display a message when it is locked and I press a key. The fact that it displays "Unlock in the bottom left is just not enough - I want "I AM LOCKED" written across the whole screen in bright flashing coloured writing :-) It must be immediately obvious looking at the handset that it is locked.
