Bug: Camera / MMS Client Problems

SYMPTOM:

A number of issues:

- The onboard photo software can often forget about the camera, requiring a removal and reinsertion before it'll work again.

- The software occasionally crashes such that once there's a photo on screen ready for me to capture, the capture button or menu item does nothing, and I can't even exit "edit picture" or use the home key. I have to reboot.

- The save as dialog can take a long time to open up.

- The list of existing photos is very slow with more than one or two photos in it.

Most importantly, the shutter sound occurs to take a picture, but the picture isn't taken until a few seconds later!
