My 28 days are up and I really want to get out of this...

Hi

I've been patient with my phone crashing until this morning. It won't boot up at all. Not even a hard reset works.

Called orange and they said they will send me a reconditioned phone. To be honest I cant see this one being any better than mine overall

What I really want to do is get out of this whole arrangement, and go and get an XDA. However my 28 days are up....

Any thoughts or advice on this ?

Thanks for any input :cry:

:D don't be silly the xda has only 4092 colours

spv=65000 that's a big note

If the phone genuinely is not fit for it's advertised purpose then you may convince them to take it back (and cancel the associated contract) under trading standards laws. Call your local trading standards office and see what they have to say.

Just get a new one, it's very unlikely that there will be a reconditioned SPV yet... they said this to me but the woman admitted it was almost certain to be a new one as there hadn't been that many returned and fixed as yet..

As far as I can tell mine's new - who cares if it's reconditioned as long as everything looks and operates right?

Thanks for all the replies.

I must say I hadn't thought of asking about the 'reconditioned' issue. I would imagine I got the standard 'orange' answer for all faulty phones. I'll look forward to my new phone today then with any luck!

Well

I just got my 'new' phone. Yes it looks new to me.

And.... it kind of seems a bit better. Cant put my finger on it, maybe my old phone was duff. I'll keep you updated if anyone is interested
