Guest Firaas Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 Ability to log incoming/outgoing calls to/from callers in phonebook after they've been made, so a message is brought up asking if a call log is required after the call has been terminated which clears out after a few seconds if no response has been received.

Guest jamesrow Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I don't see that happening really now...
Guest jamesrow Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Hello, thought i'd best start posting here :D Dunno why i'm a newbie though... :)
Guest jamesrow Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 I've been thinking about the way Orange are playing this and it seems to have some things in common with the way TMob played their business last year. Their tariffs weren't particularly competetive and a lot of stores were closed (save to build, or whatever spin they put on it :)). Now, TMob are coming back with a vengance, looking to aquire as many customers as possible and expanding their retail footprint. Orange are trying to retain their high value customers and create as much revenue as possible from the exisiting customer base. The tariffs aren't particularly interesting or competetive, CS is still good (imho). I guess we might see in 6-12 months time Orange doing a similar stunt and launching very competetive tariffs. Maybe sooner after TMob have been so successful. It does seem to be a roundabout way of treating customers, and most of this is from reading the various Mobile magazines and websites, so who knows how much truth there actually is in it. But i still have hope for Orange and have no probs with the contract i renewed 2 months ago, after accepting a free C600, 100mins/500sms/?25/month. NB: i know theres no excuse for the data prices though, i'll have a second contract through TMob as soon as the Hermes is released :D
Guest jamesrow Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Personally i'm a big fan of the Orange Homescreen (on Smartphones at least). I have had issues with their foreign call centers though, for some reason my 3's sound like 2's (but only half the time, my number has two 3's and they only get one wrong!).
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Roll on HTC Breeze (3G Smartphone) and 3G version of HTC Prophet I say :) P
Guest aspide Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 you've gotta laugh..i rang up o to knock my talk plan down to the cheapest tariff as i am on tmob now (?19 now gets you 50mins intead of 60mins on orange...work that out) & all i could hear in the background was other operators talking to customers requesting quotes for buying out of their contracts. i think the writings not only on the wall its well & truely dried !!!. by the way i noticed that o are now charging for calling 0800 numbers, can they do this without changing existing contracts ????
