XDA and SPV are made by the same company - as such, they both share a lot of identical features, ie, connectors, and, interestingly, ROMS.

Explain to me how an XDA ROM for a device with touchscreen technology an PocketPC OS would work for an SPV with keypad and Smartphone OS?

VERY intresting, has anyone tried flashing the xda software to smartphone! I doubt it would work, however their is an intresting app their which might allow someone with a rom that has certification switched off to dump their rom, and allow us to flash it onto our phones. nice :D

XDA and Smartphone sound very similar, we have a bootloader like the one their talking about.

"The XDA has the ability to read and write ROM images to SD card (ed: so does the smartphone). Using the XDA Rom Image Tool (XDArit.exe), you can use a Windows PC to read SD-cards created by the phone, and write to them as well. The program will also read the .nbf files distributed with the firmware upgrade software."

Ever since florin_m went away it seems that smartphone hacking dosnt exsist anymore. Great shame.
