Cracked Screen

Hi

Went to take my SPV out of the belt clip on Christmas Eve and was shocked to find the screen had cracked. Now I *know* I had not knocked it all. The crack seemed to have come from a pressure point towards the lower centre of the screen. Anyway, phoned up Orange and they had a new one delivered to me just as we were sitting down having Christmas dinner. How's that for service!

Think I my might wrap this one up in cotton wool balls though ;-)

Wow, well done Orange, or more so the Couriers for working Christmas.

Are the screens weak or do you think there was a defect in yours to course the cracking?

If you take your screen out into the sunlight and turn the backlight off, you can clearly see the pressure points in the screen. Looks like oil - it's actually a stress pattern shown up by polarised light.
