Guest Will Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Wonder if anyone can help, the MMS indicator on the homescreen layout ( ) does not show '0' it just shows 'nothing' I tried sending myself an MMS and failed, got orange to fix, and now i can send to myself, but the mms indicator stays blank, and the email indicator goes up by 1! Is this my phone? or is this normal? Will

Is this my phone? or is this normal? Will There is two different plugin for msg count. The standard one, written by Microsoft, doesn't support MMS and just stay blank if you use the tag. Orange has developed a new plugin that add MMS support. If you customized your homescreen, use the plugin id available in one of Orange example.
Guest Will Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Superb, thank you for your response. 8) now to find someone with MMS! Will
Guest Will Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 but with a problem. now the voicemail indicator does not work? any ideas (also this plugin seems a little light on features, ie, positioning etc, it just insists on a single line?) Any thoughts/examples gratefully recieved. Will  :D

It seems that the Orange plugin doesn't support label customization. I have tried different things and always get "SMS(x) MMS(x) email(x)" on the homescreen. I finally reused the MS plugin and customized it as I like. Will wait for an update to have MMS on homescreen.
Guest Will Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 oh well i guess we wait. thanks for the info. Will :D
