Guest phoenix Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 Just checking (my technical ignorance is incredible) can you put ringtones and backgrounds on the SD card and still play them as your main tones or home screens etc? :?
Guest crimminsky Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 nope, but you can store them there and transfer them over went you want to use them :D
Guest Thurstan Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 not even if you create a shortcut to the file on the SD card?? I've not tried this just wondering if anyone has......
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 I tried as well but no joy. Just have to keep an eye on spare memory and remove old ringtones to save space. :D would be a nice feature if this was possible.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I suspect this is to do with the latency of the MMC (particularly) / SD card. It takes bloody long enought to start ringing when a call comes in as it is! P
