Pointing ringtone files to a different location?

Is it possible to use the storage card to store .wav ringtones? At the moment, you have to copy wav files into Aplication Data -> Sounds on the phone, but this only has a limited storage space and so wondered if there is a way to point ringtone locations to a different location?

No... not possible

You can use all explorer to copy files from sd card to sounds folder - but its not ideal...
