Guest ukmailserver Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Whenever I have the phone in that fantastically engineered imitation plastic case and recieve a call it does'nt matter how careful I remove the phone from the case a button get depressed and the call gets answered. It would be nice to see who's calling first but it's too late. Does the phone answer when any button is pressed or can it be reprogammed to only answer when the "off-hook" button is pressed. Yours (waiting for a nicer case) Barry
Guest spacemonkey Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Yeah, if you go to settings, Telephony, Call Options there is a tick box for Any key answer. If you untick this it will only answer with the green pickup button. Another solution is to take the case the comes with the phone, go to the Orange shop and *********************************** the salemans *************
Guest NXNM Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 I was thinking about modifying the case so i can see the screen, putting some thin clear plastic over it to protect the screen and cutting access wholes for the Answer and FĂșckoff buttons.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Someone is bound to bring out a decent case soon, surely! There are some beautiful XDA cases, maybe we should lobby the makers of those :D P
Guest someone Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Hey, Why don't you try a nokia 3310 / 3330 case with clear plastic front side? The nokia 3310 / 3330 has allmost the same dimensions as the SPV. Didn't try it myself, but I think it will fit.
