pics too big to fit on home screen

does anyone know how to edit pictures on the spv itself

I've taken a picture and i moved it into the home screen folder using explorer on the spv but the image is too large to be displayed properly (as it looks like a close up of part of the picture)

I know that you can edit the pic on the pc by copying it onto your desktop and editing whilst on the pc but is there anyway to do it on the spv itself
