Guest dj simonz Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Last night when i was trying to capture a pic from the camera a warning message popped up "There is not enough storage space to save the image" I dont understand.... both my phone and sd card has ample of space... does the captured pics get stored on my card or phone memory? Anyone else had the same problem? please advise thanks.
Guest ajb3000 Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Card memory if there is a card in there, if not then phone memory. It also seems to need around 1MB of free space otherwise it comes up with that message, despite the fact that the pictures are only around 30k
Guest HelloDave Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 It needs to save the picture in uncompressed form first before it converts it to a jpeg, which takes about 1.2mb ish (if the pics are 32 bit colour - 640*480*4 bytes). When I only had an 8mb SD card it was always full, so I took the card out before I took a pic, and then the MMS software saves the pic on the phone instead, which should have enough free space.
Guest ajb3000 Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 Alternatively IA Album 1.6 will save pictures whenever there is enough space on the card/phone for the jpg, and you can choose where it saves. Maybe invest in that?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Yeah, IA Album is pretty good, a much better (but far from perfect) camera utility. P
