Guest Cent Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 [Edited by Site Admin, thanks for the submission Cent!] SYMPTOM: Just noticed that when the phone is in the cradle the light randomly goes on and off. RESOLUTION: None Known
Guest eocrawford Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 This will be HTC's hardware...I'm guessing something's polling in the powersaving algorithm they use. (I know it's on wall power, but it may not.)
Guest cjb110 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 yea its definitely sommit to do with the power changes, when it goes from charging to charged and then from charged to charging seems to be the only cases that trigger it.
Guest Flopsy Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 If it's got the same bugs as Pocket PC, it'll also switch on at midnight if you leave it in the cradle as well. Ralph.
Guest Rob.P Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 If it's got the same bugs as Pocket PC' date=' it'll also switch on at midnight if you leave it in the cradle as well.

Guest jamesrow Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 Heh, true. I think all mobile operators have realised the true revenue is in mobile power users - those that use data services for web browsing and email on their handsets - and not in the odd customer not too scared of running up huge bills if they go to the operators wap portal and download a ringtone. Back on topic though, a lot of mobiles on the market today are either very limited or completely lacking in an email client. All ages of people use email now and if Orange come up with a cheaper-than-text package for this service it'll be a nice alternative to sms.
