Guest JaToAc Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 hi, i received my spv today and it seems that i have a problem with my charger... i plug the charger in and nothing happens not with the cradel and not when i plug into the phone... to veryfy this i i tried to remove the battery with the charger in and the phone switches of... any tips on this? is the charger defect or am i missing something? cu
Guest Bazz Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 No idea. Just tyhe usual make sure ikt's plugged on at both ends. You have to put an adapter on at the wall socket end so make sure that's all the way in. Barry

My 1st handset would not recognise being plugged into the charger, even if the battery was full (which it was at first) it should have displayed a constant green light. I sent the phone back because it would not charge. Incidently my 2nd handset was also faulty - this one charged but the number 7 key only worked intermittently so this also had to go back. My 3rd handset works no problems. While i am on though, has anyone noticed when it is on charge the charger makes a high frequency noise and when you turn the electricity off it sounds like its gonna blow up? I ducked the first time i heard it lol.

I ducked the first time i heard it lol. Yeah, a few people have mentioned this noise in other posts. I've not heard anything weird after turning it off; but whilst charging to can hear that noise. Hopefully it should be safe to leave on charge over night :?

Guest JaToAc Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 i'm now down to one bar, or better the battery of my spv is down to one bar :wink: but still no luck with charging the battery... :shock: i could use myself a full charge now as i'm glad to inform you that i have a BUGGY phone, at least it seems that my spv has this bug (sad, as everything else works great). a very bad thing about is that i'm in germany right now and won't have the chance to get it replaced in the next 2-4 weeks. ------------------------------------ call me lucky, i know i am, sort of...
