Guest Ste Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I had seen this on a gadget shop before but I couldn't remember which so I went off on the internet searching or it again and have found it. http://www.target-marketing.co.uk/ Its quite an ingenious device actually and in my opinion is better than a usual hands free kit (unless your on a personal call and you have others in the car). I haven't actually got one yet but I am gonna order one soon (when I actually get my SPV) and then I can review it if you guys like. I should get my SPV, hopefully, fingers crossed, by the end of the week. http://www.phunkyphones.net/gadgets.asp Visit this site to find more info on this gadget.
Guest prycop1 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'd be intrested in a review of this - sounds too good to be true! How does the caller hear you? - shout? How do yo answer, end the call? Let us know when you get it.
Guest elementalist Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 I find the old press-and-hold-the-green-button thing works fine. When I get a call I do that (which I can do without my eyes leving the road) and then I put it on my dashboard. It works a treat and unless this gadget enables voice answer and hangup I think the SPV already does this.
Guest rammy121 Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 i've got the phone baby. it's alright, a novel idea. when the call comes through you have to change to the radio station you've got it tuned to. some draw backs..make sure your radio's a good one, i had bad tuning problems; battery life-you have to remember to switch it off after the call; it picks up a lot of wind noise in a convertible with the roof down. i haven't tried the green button on the spv in the car but i guess elem. you're right. if you buy the phone baby, make sure you get money back guarantee. rammy!
