Guest Rolandrat Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 I have the following Subscriptions settings (based on figures after end April): Monthly Fee £19 - £15+£4 = Rental+GPRS 0.5meg Inclusive data = 512kb Billing per = 1 byte Data Tarrif = £8/mb Invoice start = 19 Problem is that it seems to show the inclusive data left for the Calender month and not my invoice month, eg it shows Dec down to 0 (as I would expect) and January as already 512-what I've used already, but in theory as I only started the phone on 19th Dec, I am still in the first month. I would have expected the thing to organise all totals etc around the 19th of the month? Also when I go to the Invoice for December why does it only show 13 connected days when there are 18 from 19th Dec. The invoice for Dec also only shows data traffic cost for the GPRS usage actually used in the Month of december not from 19 Dec - 18 Jan. Am I missing the point here or what?
Guest ajb3000 Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Mine does that too, its gay. Don't think i'll be buying it until this is sorted out.
Guest RMWD Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Mine too until I realised that you have to set it to personal counter in Traffic -> menu then it shows the cumalative total since the last billing period. Does anyone know if version 3 is an limited trial or 30 days (it doesn't say like listpro does). Come to mention it what about all file explorer (unlimited or 30 days?)
Guest all-locations Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Hello, We will look into this and if we find a problem in our software, we will solve it in the next update of the GPRS Traffic Counter. We would also like to state that if you find something you think is not correct, then please contact [email protected] and we will take a look at it. Do NOT post it only on this forum, because we are not looking here all the time. (unless you don't want us to look at the issue of course) But anyway, thank you for pointing this out. Kind Regards, Siep de Vries ALL-locations support team [email protected]
Guest Rolandrat Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Thankyou, if you require me to give a more detailed explaination via email please let me know. I apologise for not emailing to the support address, but I was just checking the water before I made a complete arse of myself with your support peeps. As it is I've probably already made a arse on here. :D Actually I'll give the details here: Traffic details for December: Recieved 3.24mb Sent 1.24mb Inclusive data left 0 Traffic cost £32.16 Traffic details for January: Received 116.66kb Sent 70.90kb Inclusive data left 324.44kb cost £1.47 The invoice for December is correct because it adds up the bit of December and the bit of Juanuary to show a total invoice of 33.63 + the 19 subscription of course. Its the traffic screens that are confusing as even though I am in the first invoice month, the details on December have now closed and I have a new .5mb inclusive data limit counting down again on January, were I would expect this to remain at 0 until the 19 Jan - being the invoice date. I hope this explains it better, but you see one could get confused as to how much inclusive data traffic is left when that is over a calender month not the invoice month. Your thoughts appreciated.
Guest all-locations Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Thank you for your further explanation. Rolandrat, can you send me an e-mail on [email protected], so the rest of our conversation can be done by e-mail. By the way: Stupid questions do not exist :D Kind Regards, Siep de Vries ALL-locations support team [email protected]
