Guest J1A1H Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 i was just wondering if anyone could help me out with something on media player? i have just got my spv and i have been able to do everything with it except play videos. i have a 32mb card and i want to put a 32mb video clip on it. At the same time i want enough of space for my mp3's. How can you compress the size of an MP3 so you can fit more on a card but also maintain good quality can u please help me out. thanks in advanced!!! Josh

Guest Will Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 calm down mate. whatever happens you will not be able to store more than 32mb on a 32mb card, (slightly less usually). So you will have to re-encode your movie using WMmediaencoder?? (search the forum). then for the mp3's you will need to re-encode those, not sure if WMmediaencoder does mp3 or there should be some other app, try a google on the net. Will
Guest J1A1H Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 thanks but when i re encode them do i also have to change them to a different file type because its mpeg and the spv cant play mpeg. what shall i hange it to
Guest Will Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 dragging and dropping into the smartfone, or using activesync will convert automatically, otherwise convert to wmv. Will
