Guest beckett1 Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 · Hidden Hidden Is there anyway to move to the next line (return) in a txt/email? beckett1
Guest Roamer Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 · Hidden Hidden This has been covered somewhere before, but anyway, when you're composing a msg, hit the action key to insert a "return" into it :D
Guest Saracen Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 · Hidden Hidden But the phone doesn't seem to recognise the carriage return from Nokia phones, if you receive a message with them; they come up as squares.
Guest spacemonkey Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 · Hidden Hidden Tut tut... I would guess being an M$ operating system the SPV is probably using the windows "standard" for carraige returns and since it doesn't like Nokia maybe they are using the *nix "standard"?
Guest beckett1 Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 · Hidden Hidden Thanks I knew it was something simple beckett1
Guest Danlance Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 · Hidden Hidden I got sent an sms from a nokia 3310 the other day the first 2/3 of the message came through fine, then most of the rest was random garbled chacters, with the last 2 words coming out fine. I checked sent items on the nokia, and the whole message was readable there... Any ideas?
