Activesync missing appointments

Hello everyone,

Basically, I'm having trouble with sync'ing a few appointments in my Outlook diary to my phone. I don't understand what is different about these particular appointments, it just appears that when activesync runs it misses some appointments, and it means I can't trust my phone to be accurate with regards to my work appointments. It doesn't say that there are any conflicts, or bring up any error messages.

Can anyone help out with this, because other than this, the SPV is a brilliant concept, and with a bit of patience will be perfect, but at the moment, I can't be 100% sure that it's up to date and the calendar is right.

I did search the forum to see if anyone else had reported this perviously, but couldn't find anything, but appologise if everyone knows about this and can't help.

Thanks, Gary

I haven't experienced this - I use the calendar sync *a lot*, and it always seems fine?

Have you got activesync set to syncronise "all appointments", there are other options such as the next five days etc also available

Also, check your activesync rules (in the options menu) to ensure you have your conflicts & pass through set up correctly.

Thanks for replying.

Since then I have figured out that it only sync's items that I created. If someone else created an appointment and sent it to me (ie an invitation), that doesn't get sync'd down, and that happens to be the majority of items in my work calendar.

Also, the back end to all of this is not Exchange, where I work we use Groupwise for email/calendaring, but it's possible to have Outlook running on the machine, and looking at the the Groupwise back end (and not know the difference as a user), and that works fine (you can see all appointments). I don't know if that has something to do with it.
