Guest wizgti Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Could do with an inbuilt camera and bluetooth.Imagine listening to MP3's while using wireless handsfree-it would be great.
Guest hercules Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I don't understand why Orange/Microsoft left out Bluetooth
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 I suppose it could be the extra initial cost, So they could have it as an add-on for extra. How many people actually have Blue Tooth? Is it popular enough yet?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 I am not too fussed about BT, as I only used it to link to the PDA I've now sold anyway! Heh... Anyway, can you IMAGINE how bad the battery life would be with BlueTooth enabled? Scary stuff! P
Guest spacemonkey Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 They had to make some compromises. Looking through all the "bugs" etc on these forums there's plenty of people saying things along the lines of "Where's the bluetooth" or "The processor is to slow" or "The great feature I want in hardware isn't there" but then they like the phone because it's smaller than the 7650 and they don't like the short battery life. There's gotta be some balance especially for first gen hardware like this. If we had every feature this thing would need to be either twice the size or it would have a battery life of 5 minutes. If you need everything in a single package at the moment I'm afraid you need to buy one of those fullzied PDA's with built in phone type devices. Give it another year or 2 and then we'll have the next gen SPV with everything and a battery that last a week and half the size, but for now just enjoy the bleeding edge cool toyness of this baby. Just my thought anyway Monkey
Guest JaToAc Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 half the size? you're kidding, who want's to have such a small keypad... but who knows what a mobile phone will look like in 1-2 years. perhaps it's nothing more than the size of a jabra freespeak bt headset and fully voice controlled...
