ok i have downloaded a wav for my ringtone.

how do i select it as my ringtone?

any help would be much apreciated.

place the wav file in IPSMApplication DataSounds If there is no 'Sounds' folder, create one

Then from the home screen select Programs....More...Settings....Sounds

From here, you should be able to set ring tone for line 1, which is the top line on the screen.

how do i place the wav there?? i have downloaed it... and no i cant find it :(

wher abouts is the wav located...and can i only do with the phone pluged into the cradle/computer.?

might be easier to start from the beginning, as I am not sure what you have done.

download the wav file to the desktop of your PC. Then open ActiveSync, with the SPV in the cradle. Select 'Explore' tab, then Mobile Device...My SmartphoneIPSMApplication DataSounds

Copy the wav file from your desktop to the above specified location, then you should be able to select the wav file as your ringtone as described in my first post

well i downloaded it to my phone no pc used.... stright to phone..

when i go home tonight i iwll use the pc to do it :D

you can still shove the file in the sounds dir using all-explorer :D

You find that some wavs just dont seem to work on the phone I thought it was a sound issue at first but then I managed to get a 480k file working?? Any ideas? they all play fine on the PC
