Guest mcfc2134 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 I have a few mp3'z i want to play on my SPV. I currently have a 64mb SC Card. Is there any program out there that will let me change my mp3'z to a lower bitrate (i.e. 192/128k to 64k)? Cheers, Tim
Guest kernowmagic Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 just go to www.downloads.com type in mp3 to wav convertor then a load of programs will come up just download one. Then download droopyeyes which can be found at www.droopyeyes.com and there you have it. There is other porgrams to convert them back to mp3's but droppy eyes is fast and its got loads of settings.
Guest HelloDave Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Convert your mp3's to wma format. It's much better quality that mp3 at the same bitrate - a 64kbps wma sounds far better than a 64kbps mp3. The best program i've found is MP3toWMA which batch converts a whole folder of mp3s to wma. Just do a Google search for it.
Guest Emad Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 http://www.reseau.org/mp3towma/ for MP3 to WMA conversion - 64k usually sounds great on those crappy lil headphones. Batch conversion of mp3s is done very, very well by CDex - cdexos.sourceforge.net
