Guest benny Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Hi, Last night, I was using the SPV while it was plugged into the mains charger (no, not on the cradle!), and after about 15 minutes of conversation, I noticed that the whole phone was very warm - much more so than my old 6210e. Aside from the obvious concerns (i.e. BBQing my brain), has anyone else noticed this phone running "hot"? I doubt it'll damage the unit, but it was slightly worrying! B
Guest strathclydezero Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 It's not the radiation - it doesn't keep my hand warm when I walk home using it outdoors.
Guest benny Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 I was only joking about the radiation - I just get a little nervous when stuff like this runs hot! B

Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 chemical based one built into a carrycase :D
Guest benny Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 You can buy those chemical gel hand heaters from Milletts...although they need to be boiled for 15 mins to recharge them. Not sure this would do your SPV much good, though! :D B
