Don't know what this file does, mine is only 400Kb or so... It's not internet history. Maybe it's to do with contacts or SMS/MMS messages or something, do you have loads of these on your phone?

If you reboot the phone does it get smaller?

~1000 contacts, and not it does not change size when i reboot. i dont think it has anything to do with web history because i hardly use ie.

mine is also only 400k or so, you sure you read the size correctly? also i dont think it is the message db as mine hasnt been modified for 3 hours, and i have received email since then. it might be something to do with activesync, as the modification timestamp corresponds with the "last updated" timestamp. i'll play...

1000 contacts is a lot more than me.... this could possibly relate to the large file size, I have maybe 50-100 contacts.

i just set up an activesnyc connection and the modification timestamp was updated. not file size change though...

i dont think it has to do with contacts because the my outlook contacts folder is only 1400k.

however, i do sync between 2 computers (work + home) whic might explain the size.
