Search in contacts

Hello,

My contacts are composed of "Name" and "Company".

When I read the contacts on the SPV, the "company" is joined side by side to the "name", like this : Gates, Bill(Microsoft)

With this layout, it is impossible to search the company without knowing the name or vice versa.

Answer for that? :shock:

2nd Q: Is it possible to get a search function, identically of the search function of Outlook(contacts)? :?:

Eh? Name seaches match any part of the name. So in you example all of the following will match that name:

* Gates

* Bill

* Microsoft (Actually not sure about this one - it might just search in name).

However "Bill Gates" won't match.

What way does Outlok search?

Hi!

About my first request, the problem in the search by the company is that the "company" is joined side by side (without space) to the name. It's a problem of synchronization with Outlook.

Now it's possible to arrange manually the classification "File as" on the SPV and one by one!!! And that's OK...

About my second question, it's a "full text" search function on different module (contacts, calendar, etc.)
