Guest Emad Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 It depends where you bought it from - places like The Link give 1 month, online stores usually go for 3-4 months before you can change to a LOWER PRICED contract - higher prices at any time (of course). You basically have orange for 12 months from purchase of phone tho, you won't be indebted any longer than that.

Free handset at £40 quid a month for 4months for 1000 x-net anytimes minutes a month, then i was thinking about going onto OVP Freetime 750 after that (which was £160 for handset new anyway) after the 4months... so this is ok? and when wud i tel orange i wana change etc? in the 4th month or does it need 2 be earlier?
Guest Emad Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Ask the company you're purchasing it from - bear in mind the mobile phone companies will probably edit their tariffs between now and then though, although probably for the better (competition, yay). Transfers on tariffs usually either take a day or two or from the next new billing period, it can vary..
