Guest XPClone Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Can any one tell me how to copy over the favourites folder from my XP laptop to my SPV. I don't want to enter it in manually to my SPV, can this be done.
Guest sbsdegb1 Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Just drag them over using ActiveSync... Thats what I do. I have also set myself up an access database on my website that I can add my own favs too. Then I only have to have one favourite on my spv. This points to an asp page that then lists all my favs. Even have categories. This means I can update my favs from any web browser anywhere in the world.
Guest XPClone Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Where do I drag them over to on the SPV. Do I have to copy over the existing favourites folder in order for them to be displayed? Can you give me the path for the favourites folder on the SPV.
Guest sbsdegb1 Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 My Path for FAV's is IPSM/windows/Favorites I wouldn't overwrite the folder just copie folders (directories) from your PC into the Favorites folder. ps. Why can't stupid Americans spell favourites properly. Half cocked English language they use.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 hehe. in america they will have to "syncronize" their smartphones too
