Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 My 'Sent Items' folder is really huge! Anyone else? :D P
Guest pupton Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Cleared mine down manually.... Painful! :D
Guest Lojt Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 I would really like the ability to create folders to put your messages in so you wont get a messy inbox...
Guest pupton Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Theres nothing worse than a messy Inbox
Guest crck Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 no chance..... the update isn't the solution, didn't find out something new to delete an entire folder.....
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 That's assuming we get the same patch... P
Guest wideawake Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Have you noticed that they have stopped updating the orange web site for customer feedback RE: Orange SPV. http://www.orange-today.co.uk/news/story/s...=spv&footer=off Last updated 23/12/2002 Has nobody given any feedback since then? (Yeahh right!) I think if a problem is mentioned on the web site, there is a fair chance it will be included in an update (probably why they have not listed all the problems mentioned in this forum!!) Guess I am just a cynic.
Guest spacemonkey Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Pessimism is the best, that way when anything not completely crap happens in your life it's a pleasant surprise. I'm expecting the update in 2004.
Guest Bazz Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 My 'Sent Items' folder is really huge!I thought Neil said it only kept the last 50 sent messages? Not sure if this is just for e-mails/SMSes/MMSes or what, but I hoped for 50 overall. Have you noticed that they have stopped updating the orange web site for customer feedback RE: Orange SPV. http://www.orange-today.co.uk/news/story/s...=spv&footer=off Last updated 23/12/2002 Has nobody given any feedback since then? (Yeahh right!) Jees, give them a chance. They've probably been off since christmas. I expected an update to this site every fornight or so (don't know why - I just made that figure up :D ), so it's not time to give up on it yet. I think if a problem is mentioned on the web site, there is a fair chance it will be included in an update (probably why they have not listed all the problems mentioned in this forum!!) Hmmm. that's probably a good point. There haven't been many new bugs since 23rd December, so it could be they'll only list the easily fixable ones so they can update the site and say "we fixed all these - aren't we good!" Still as long as they then work on the others and do another release I'll be happy with that. Baby steps will minimise introduction of new bugs. Barry
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Well, my send folder currently has 186 items :D P
Guest DJHope Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Ouch 186! Im glad i constantly keep deleting my messages, that must really be slowing up your phone paul! Have you tried deleting the MAPI folder? and switch "save sent messages" off (does that even work?)
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 I thought Neil said it only kept the last 50 sent messages? Not sure if this is just for e-mails/SMSes/MMSes or what, but I hoped for 50 overall. i would have assumed it will keep filling up until ur phone ROM is used up? also i have found a way to remove all ur emails at least, from the inbox. simply change ur activesync settings to [not] sync email, depending how you have it set up. when you next sync you'll get a prompt on the spv informing you of this change and asking if you want to clear all old email from ur inbox, select yes and ur sorted :D. just remember to clear ur pop3 mailbox if you then change ur spv back to auto sending and recieving independently, had to download 46 headers thru gprs :/
