Different Ringtones for different contacts

Hello!

I set up different ringtones for different contacts. I made this in the contact. But if one of the contact calls me, then i hear the normal ringtone and not the special ringtone which I set up in the contact.

What's the problem? Could somebody help me?

Purely a guess but I wondered if it could be a problem with number format, like users have complained of with the SPV failing to recognise SMS IDs from the phonebook (I think that one was when there were spaces in the number IIRC)?

I've not had any problems with this feature. contacts > edit > custom ring tone > etc > ok out of it.

as for the contact number format, all my contacts numbers are as follows:

+44 (1234) 567890

and all calls/mms/sms are picked up on and displayed correctly, just wish i could easily change the default number though :D
