is it true you can only store 1 number per contact htat you can send txt msg to? sure this needs to be fixed. it would be good if you could txt people by going to a number and selecting txt or by going to txt and selecting a number like other phones.

afaik this is the case, and yes i would love for that to be fixed because i have a lot of friends with 2 mobile numbers! texting to their second mobile number is a major hassle as i have to manually look the number up in the address book and the input it manually. If you are listening, microsoft, please fix this.

What's wrong with just keeping them in the Contacts list with 2 separate names (e.g. Maggie & Maggie 2nd line)?

Certainly better than manually putting in the number. May not be perfect, but it's really not that great a deal.

A nifty solution to this is to put their second mobile number in the 2nd email entry. Works a treat!

The other solution to the second SMS number for a friend is to copy your contacts to the sim.

When you need their other number you can find it on the sim. 8)

Another solution... when you see your friend, take their second phone, smash it, and throw it in a dumpster.

I second that spacemonkey!

Let's just hope that phone is an SPV!!!
