What does this icon mean?

Hi Guys

Is anyone aware of what the icon that looks like a phone handset with a small exclaimation mark above it signifies? It's located right next to the big G to indicate GPRS access is available.

I ask cause it keeps coming up 4 or 5 times a day and I can't get rid of it without restarting the phone. it's really begining to bug me now!

It means you have missed a call, if you go and look at your call history it will have the missed call listed along with all your incoming and outgoing calls. After looking at the history the icon should dissapear as you then know who the missed call was from.

Some homescreens also use a plugin where a line appears on the homescreen saying "Missed Calls: 1" and that line will take you straight to your call history when selected.

Ahhhhhh, nice one mate.... DOH!... of course, that makes perfect sense now :(. We can always depend on Spacemonkey to give a speedy (and acurate) response!

I have only just experianced this and now know why. It's cause I'm using that skin and .XML homescreen that you tweaked a few days back and it no longer actualy states "Missed Calls: 1" like my old one used to.

Still wouldn't part with the skin though... it's great!

Yeah, missed calls is bad on skins like that because it appears and dissappears which wrecks the spacing in the theme.

I changed my picture cos it had been there long enough... normally I browse with the dodgy work friendly browser Ghostzilla that doesn't show pictures unless you hold the mouse over them but after using IE a bit I got sick of the creepy looking picture of me.
