Guest dandy Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 How do you set up a wav file to be used as an MSM/MSS/E-Mail alert? Which directory do I copy the .wav file to and which setting needs to be changed? Thanks…
Guest Deemon Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 wav files are placed in the following directory : IPSMApplication DataSounds youll need to make the sounds directory The wav files can then be assigned to the desired alert in the Settings/Sounds menu
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 Try putting them here IPSM,Aplication Data,Sounds Or what you could do is keep selection on your mem card select the sound (if you have all-explorer, if not why not? ) play it then menu save sound and it places it in the correct folder for you.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 Deemon I guess you're a quicker typer than me :D You don't need to make the sound directory if you use the second option I posted, at least I did'nt so i gues windows does it for you.
Guest dandy Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 Thanks Deemon, I'll give that a whizz!
Guest Deemon Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 hehe..yeah it probably does make the directory for you..ive only just this minute got all explorer installed...just about to see what it can do... :D Dandy : No problem
