SPV friendly forum

I love this forum but I was just wondering how difficult it would be to have a text only version for easy spv viewing access.

I expect I'll get stinging replies about how much effort that would take when we have a perfectly good forum that works on the phone, albeit a little slowly.

It would be good though, have you thought about it Paul?

I have thought about it, and am certain it could be done, but unfortunately until Orange or MS start paying me a salary, I have to do a full time job as well as run the forum :D (You listening O / MS? hehehe)

Seriously tho, it is something I would like to do! You will notice a few tweaks to the forum over the next week or so, to fix a few little quirks, tho the changes will be mostly under the surface, and as soon as that is done, I will look at making the forum more SPV friendly.

One change you WILL notice is the attachment capability will be returning (hurrah!)

i do occasionally browse this site on my spv to answer pm's :D. first tried it on pass-thru to see what it looked like, interesting, but a little easy to get lost in hehe.

on gprs it isnt that much slower than other sites, assuming you turn pictures off...and still good enough to answer a pm or two
