London Tube Map For Free!

Another tip from the newbie youngerpants...

I was very tempted to buy the london tube map software, but decided i wasnt going to pay for a peice of software I'd use very occasionaly.

But then i thought...

Downloaded a decent quality pic of the London tube map and saved it to my SD card, changed my IE options so "fit to screen", and I now have an easily readable tube map on my SPV and havnt had to pay for the software that does essentialy the same thing. I think of it as SPV freeware

and I downloaded a picture of centre court at wimbledon, now it looks like I have Tennis addict and I didn't have to pay....... :D

But you don't get the wee trip planner with the wee animations...

Neh, Metro on my wee Palm Vx - free and includes landmarks and suchlike, good stuff..

The trip planner is not worth £10.77 by a long shot!! I've never had a decent use for it, except for playing, its far easier to just look at the map for me and choose my own route.

So you miss out on nice little animations, big deal, £10 is a little harsh for a tube map

I scanned in a picture of Wembley and it now looks like Total Soccer; I did it with Elland Road, Leeds and it looks like Total F*ckup! :lol: :D :(

my god this scanning idea has so many possibilities so much money could be saved if i scanned in windows xp would i have that on my spv :lol: :D :( yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee thanks for the tip
