Guest cplowman Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Just had a look at www.three.co.uk , the Hutchison 3G website. Theres some interesting stuff on there. Does anyone think that 3G phones features, software etc (esp the handsets) look or might be any better than the SPV??? The handsets are pricy, although I like the look of the NEC fold up phone with qwerty keyboard! I have to say, there are screenshots from some of the phones features, and I think the SPV potential is far better. I was drawn to the website by a TV ad, which said something like 'Be the first to have video on your mobile' What????? I've been watching video on my SPV from day one, man!!!!!
Guest crimminsky Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 yep, we beat them to it.........:D
Guest phoenix Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 NECe808 looks nice there are 2 cams in it i guess
Guest Shire29 Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 In a video call how are you supposed to see the other person when the screen and the camera are on opposite sides of the same part of the flip. maybe you could carry round a mirror, that would work. Probably an accessory. Exciting times though all the same, looks pretty expensive though. Cheers, Shire
Guest Emad Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 The television adverts are starting up now - if the actual quality of video is like in those, they look a bit better than the spv (and have Java) - the main buzzline is watch the premiership on your phone, proper streamed video :D It does have two camera's I believe.. Now, what are the Japenese 4G phones like? I seem to remember the first 3D image phone has just come out there or something like that.. Bah :(
